A Peak District hill farm breeding Guanaco and Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys.
Alongside the traditional livestock found on a hill farm, you might see something a little different here at Heathylee. We have been breeding endangered guanaco and adorable miniature donkeys for more than 20 years.
Our guanaco have taken to farmed life in the Peak District really well. We have a herd of around 50 guanaco and chulengos on the farm.
Mediteranean Miniature Donkeys are a favourite on the farm. Cheeky and playful, we get really excited when a baby donkey is due to arrive in the world.
